We can't do what we do with the support of our amazing Volunteers.

 

We are always in need of assistance and welcome interest in becoming a Volunteer on a regular basis or for one of our fundraising Events.

Volunteer Your Time

Join us in making a difference by volunteering your time at our Winchester, VA distribution location or at one of our events!

 

We are always in need of assistance and welcome your interest in becoming a volunteer. As a volunteer, you can expect a rewarding experience, opportunities to meet like-minded individuals, and the chance to contribute to our mission. Your helps us create a positive impact in the community

GENERAL VOLUNTEERING

Duties may include:

  • Greet donors & sort donations as they come in the door

  • Fold & match outfits

  • Clean & disinfect toys

  • Organize bookshelves by reading level

  • Fill clothing requests

  • Make phone calls to referral agencies

  • Sew t-shirts into bags

  • Write thank you notes

EVENT SPECIFIC VOLUNTEERING

Duties will vary based on the Event.

As fundraisers are developed, we reach out for Volunteers prior to each Event.  Following us on social media is the best way to hear about our upcoming volunteer opportunities, or you can email frog231w@gmail.com.

STUDENT VOLUNTEERING​​

Earn those volunteer hours!

We welcome students to participate and lend a hand with sorting donations, office volunteer work, or at events. Your support makes a difference, and we appreciate your willingness to help out!

Rather Give?

Many children in foster care arrive with just the clothes they are wearing.

 

We collaborate with agencies, schools, and to provide a week's worth of clothing, as well as diapers, car seats, toiletries, and more to make the most of your monetary gift.

Volunteer understands that the scope of Volunteer’s relationship with Nonprofit is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by Volunteer; that Nonprofit will not provide any benefits traditionally associated with employment to Volunteer; and that Volunteer is responsible for his/her own insurance coverage in the event of personal injury or illness as a result of Volunteer’s services to Nonprofit.
